Iván Ivelic Yanes graduated as an architect from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in 1995. D. from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, Spain. He is currently a professor at the School of Architecture and Design PUCV in which he has worked uninterruptedly since 1995 to the present. Member and inhabitant of the Open City of Amereida from 1970 to the present, from where he has contributed to the discipline in the exploration of new ways to think and develop architecture collectively and under an artistic conception, exploring in teaching the work at 1:1 scale. He has been a guest professor in Argentina, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Greece, New Zealand where he has held conventions, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and works.
